We will introduce an example of how we resolved a problem with the discharge of descaling agents from the flue gas treatment silo of the incinerator. Initially, there were no issues when receiving the agent from the tank truck into the storage silo, but as the storage volume decreased to a certain extent, it formed a rat hole and stopped discharging. By installing eight standard blow discs (BD-15) and using a controller (C-SV4) with four built-in solenoid valves to sequentially turn on the air for two blow discs at a time with a time delay, we achieved good results. After confirming the hopper diagram and contents (in the photo), we provided recommendations for the model and layout. We received a request to borrow the Brodisk, and the product was sent. The customer conducted a confirmation test and decided to implement it due to the favorable results. At the cement silo, it was noted (based on user experience) that the hopper slope is gentle and general aeration is not very effective, so we decided to install multiple blow discs. The result is OK! This is a project that adopted the load disk (mini) and controller.

This is an introduction to a case where the powder did not drop at all from the hopper, and despite various attempts, nothing worked. Knockers and vibrators were not effective, and a homemade aeration system created by modifying the piping also had no effect. We received a call expressing interest in trying a blow disk. After discussing the situation and receiving examples of what did not work from the customer, we decided on the arrangement and quantity of our equipment, lent out product samples, and conducted a trial. 0419 Resolving blockages of crushed material + virgin raw materials

We have been evaluated as having resolved the issue of clogging, and you have adopted our equipment.

This is a case adopted by a business primarily engaged in the molding of resin products. When introducing a new hopper, the mixing ratio of crushed material and virgin material was changed, which led to the occurrence of bridging that had not happened with this material before. They contacted us expressing a desire to try the BroaDisk. After receiving information about the hopper and materials, we promptly decided to send a demo unit. 0528 Solving the discharge issues of magnesium oxide-based powder.

Three standard Brodisk (BD-15 type) units were installed in the hopper and testing was conducted.

This is an example of how our equipment resolved issues that could not be solved by the installation of knockers and aeration (socket welding) on the bridge. The installation of the blow disk involves making holes in the hopper wall for attachment. In this case, the customer expressed, "We have tried various methods, so we absolutely do not want to fail this time." Therefore, it was decided to first test with a φ500 hopper that the customer could prepare (with holes drilled, and it was acceptable if it did not work). As a result, the discharge issues were resolved, but after discussions between the customer and our company, we concluded that it would be better to install a total of 8 blow disks of this type in 2 tiers using a φ800 hopper. The customer proceeded with this installation. The control system uses a controller (C-SV4) with 4 built-in solenoid valves to sequentially turn on the air for the 8 blow disks in pairs at 4 locations with a time delay. 0529 Improvement of poor outflow of sludge incineration ash

Resolved issues where insufficient remaining contents in the silo caused discharge failures, preventing truck loading!

We have been adopted for a project aimed at wastewater treatment plants by a customer related to plants. The subject matter is sludge incineration ash, and the issue was that "when the remaining amount of silo contents decreased, discharge failures occurred, making it impossible to load onto trucks (troubles occurred when the remaining amount was below 20-30 tons)." Previously, a mesh-type air rater was used, and although the air pressure was increased, it did not lead to improvements, resulting in mesh damage and air leaks from the surroundings (other aeration methods were also used in conjunction). Therefore, although it is a large silo, the trouble only occurs when the powder level decreases. We positioned the equipment in three tiers near the discharge area (only the three tiers below the silo, without the fourth and fifth tiers). There are a total of 20 standard type blow discs: 4 in the bottom tier, 8 in the second tier, and 8 in the third tier. Control is managed by a controller with 10 solenoid valves built-in. The operating air pressure is set higher, and we addressed the issue by turning on the air in small increments (2 units at a time). *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

We will introduce a case where four units were simultaneously turned on for cost efficiency, using the standard type of blow disk.

We would like to introduce a case where we received a request from a certain machinery manufacturer regarding a malfunction in the discharge of powder from a hopper, which requires urgent improvement. The issue was that although the hopper was equipped with a vibrator, it took more than 30 seconds for the powder to start flowing after the vibrator was activated. After providing information on the applicable models and layout, along with a detailed explanation, we implemented the solution immediately.
